A Man or A Boy

What is the definition of a man? I think most of us would
agree that it goes way beyond the biological definition.

When we speak of attaining manhood, being a man, acting
like a man, the best definitions strongly imply possessing
attributes such as responsibility, fidelity, honesty,
intelligence, internal strength, and dignity.

All right, here’s a test.

Which of the following would you say is the best definition
of a man?

Man #1 He’s a responsible person, works hard, strives,
treats women with dignity and respect, he’s intelligent,
takes care of his family, sets a good example, and is an
asset to his family and community.

Man #2 Just the opposite of man #1. He’s irresponsible,
disrespectful of women, promiscuous, stupid and silly; he
runs out on his kids and is basically a drain on his
community.

Okay, that was an easy test. I think we all agree that man
#1 is definitely the best example of what a man is.

Man #2 is essentially the opposite of a man. A “man” that
behaves like the opposite of a man is a sissy. Sure he might
be 6’6”, 280 pounds of muscle and screws every woman in
sight, but he’s definitely a sissy if he behaves the opposite
of a man....
